Luau Party

Emily had a few friends over for a luau themed birthday party today. We did crafts, a few games and water balloon tosses. Here's a few photos from the party.

Ours look just a tad different from Family Fun's, but they were a huge hit. The girls thought they were pretty cool.


They made their own leis from an Oriental Trading craft kit and hula skirts from crepe paper. They didn't seem all that interested in making the hula skirts at first, but then they really got into it. They took them off shortly after this photo because they were hot and annoying. LOL


I like this pic. They kept giggling while I was trying to get a good shot.


They decorated flip flops with beads and flowers. They loved this project. Their feet were pretty dirty and they didn't want to put on their new flip flops. That's why I posed them like this. Left to right is Brooke, Emily, Alexis, Kaitlyn and Leanna.
