Christmas 06 Memories

I originally planned to make this a goofy photo gallery of last year's Christmas pics. Then I found a few I liked and thought I'd share. Have no fear, there's some goofy ones thrown in too (shh...don't tell Charlie...hehe).

O Christmas tree...(only about half the ornaments I own are on it) Emily was sick AGAIN for Christmas. I think it was at least the third time she's been too sick to go out. Should I mention that she was sick on her FIRST Christmas? (I even journaled about it in an old scrapbook!) Charlie took this pic on Christmas Eve morning when we were eating yummy baked French toast that I made. She didn't eat any of it. :-( She asked me to make it again this year. Hopefully the fact that she was sick on Thanksgiving will mean she'll be healthy for Christmas.

We went to my stepdaughter's for Christmas Eve dinner. She cooked her first turkey dinner ever and almost set her condo on fire when she left a pan of grease in the hot oven. hehe Charlie and Christie ran to ventilate the kitchen. I ran for my camera. There's Emily just taking it all in (she drank ginger ale all day).

Christmas morning. This is a bad pic but it shows the no sew blanket I made for Adam. He sleeps with it every night so it's already pretty worn out.

Here's Emily with her no sew blanket. She loves it and it also keeps her warm at night, though hers is still in really good shape (must be a girl thing...lol).

This is our old kitty Samantha. We didn't know it then, but it was her last Christmas with us. :-(

OK, these last three pics were taken by Adam on his new camera. Note how every child must take pics of their toys. What else is there? Adam got all this stuff for Christmas. I have no idea where this photo was taken because that rug is not in my house. lol

Oh, who's this beauty queen looking so bright eyed on Christmas morning? hehe Here I am holding up a hoodie that Charlie gave me. I think I wore it once. It's not my style (there's matching pink pants to go with it too...lol).

Charlie, just hold up the gift. We'll try not to wake you.
